'08 128i, 6spd, leather, sunroof.

Car has 97K, maintenance records on hand. Owner told me it was in one small accident in a parking lot which required replacement of pass fender.

We've settled on a price of $11Gs.

So, which is it:

a lot of miles IMO.. I wouldn't buy a car past 60k...

Thanks for the feedback.

The issue is, this car is significantly cheaper than anything else I've come across. I think the savings I see in my purchase can be tucked away in case anything comes up down the road in terms of maintenance.

The next closest priced car is about $5000 more. Barring an engine failure that $5Gs is where I would set it aside to take care of anything that crops up.

Like the output, though. Would have paid the $900 (especially if they didn't have the Adaptive Light Control. I still have high beams)
I have xenons without the Premium Package.

Sunroof was an absolute deal breaker for me when car searching. The angel eyes don't actually look ricey on the 1er because they are 4000k bulbs that are fairly yellow. It is when they are blue 6000k bulbs that they look ricey.

Sounds far too cheap to be anything but terrible.

it's a lot of car for $11k.....but always remember that engine failures are not the main concern here-----major electronic issues, more wear/tear stuff, and maintenance are concerns. If you're going to buy a 'deal' like that, make sure you get a full history of the car......or take the risk of spending a solid $5k VERY quickly just to fix some basic stuff.

I don't know your car history or how well versed you are, but having owned several european cars over the past 10-15 years i can tell you that they are always expensive to keep on the road......so my philosophy is that you're better off spending extra money now to get a better car rather than getting a 'deal' and then dealing with all the issues on your own. IMO.

I seriously think we are either talking flood damage or stolen at that price.

No option NOT to get the premium package and not a color temp thing. For ME, it's the thing (angel eye) surrounding the headlight trying to make the said headlight appear more proportional to the vehicle. Ick. YMMV. (Squiddies from the original Matrix movie...)

I have xenons and no sunroof, it was an option previously.

Take it to a local shop you trust and have them inspect it. Worth the $, plus they can check to see how bad the damage was, if the frame was bent, and so on.

Yeah, Ill be adding sport seats im getting locally, plasti dipped the silver trim black, and changed out the suspension. Headlights were swapped for depo's which are a good enough solution for the cost.

Upgrades all around. Sport seats especially are fantastic.

The only downside are that the ones i found are non heated and mine are heated.. I'll sure miss that. But the sport seats hugging me through turns is leaps and bounds better than having to brake against the dash with my knee's.

As much as I enjoy the sunroof, I'd be happier without it. Xenons would be nice. Put those headlights in, they basically suck, so Im going to send my OEM halogens to OSS and have them done the right way. (Yes, you can say I told you so) lol.

He told me one was done earlier this week at BMW of Bridgeport. He's going to send a copy of the report down to me today. I'll also call the dealership to verify their findings to make sure it wasn't fussed with at all.

With Sports Package or Sports Seats and Xenon lights....sounds like a deal to me.

Swap in a 3 stage intake along with the AA tune...and your sitting on sub 5.8 sec 0-60 car!

Having looked into the details, I would avoid. It seems to largely have been neglected and serviced at a Goodyear center. Chinese knockoff parts here we come.

Scoops I'll probably avoid.
