2008 BMW 135i - BMW Performance - HRE - 9500ci

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
2008 BMW 135i -- $36500 with HRE + stock wheels -- $35000 with only factory wheels
6-speed manual
36k miles

Located in Portland, OR.

1 owner since new. I custom ordered the car from Rasmussen BMW (now BMW of Portland) in October of 2007 and took delivery in late April 2008. Was the second 1-series registered in Oregon so I was able to snag the "135i" vanity plate. The KW V2 coilovers help the car handle like a dream and the BMW Performance exhaust has a great note that growls when it should but doesn't drone badly or wake up the entire neighborhood on cold-starts.

Vehicle has been serviced by Rasmussen BMW of Portland and Kuni BMW in Beaverton, OR. It has received every scheduled service plus out of pocket oil changes between the scheduled service intervals. The 4 year/40k mile warranty expires on 20 April 2012, but can be extended through BMW or an aftermarket company if you wish.

I usually take the car off the road from mid-November to March to avoid extra wear and mileage. I drive the car to the Oregon Coast at least once a month and to central Oregon often during the summer. Also sees a lot of Interstate-5 action traveling from Portland to Corvallis and Eugene for school and sports events. Only "road-trip" the car has seen was to the Bay Area/Napa Valley this summer and the car (and the laser jammers!) performed excellently and drove very comfortably on the 1,500 mile road trip.

The N54 twin-turbo engine in the x35i cars from 2007-2011 is a great platform and easy to modify. This car has never had a piggy-back tune installed nor has the ECU ever been "flashed". If it doesn't sell in the next few months I will probably install a Cobb Accessport along with downpipes just because it would make my smile that much bigger when driving the car!

Selling this and my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee just to switch things up, used to switch cars every 8 months and just want to see how bad I regret selling this when I sign over the title Interested in a Range Rover, Cayenne, 993, or 996 Turbo +/- cash.

I would rate the exterior a 8.5/10 as it has a few chips and 1-inch scuff on the lower passenger side of the front bumper. Had two of the HRE's repaired for curb rash by Skip's Wheel Werks in Beaverton, OR, and the stock wheels have a few nicks as well. Can provide pictures via email.

Interior would be a 10 if it weren't for some scuffed vinyl that is below the passenger side B-pillar next to the seat-back (caused by a plasma TV box I got stuck). Interior picture was taken on 22 October 2011 and it hasn't been "cleaned" since the last tank of gas. The leatherette holds up much better than the cheap leather BMW made available for the 1-series lineup.

Jammers sit under the chin of the front bumper and in the mesh of the carbon fiber diffuser. GPS unit is installed in a rear headrest along with the radar detector. Very slick installation.

Please don't take this the wrong way but your asking to much. Ive seen them going for a lot less similarly optioned. Regardless it's a gorgeous car though and good luck with the sale.

Agreed. I got excited when I saw the pictures but when I saw the price a gasped. Many thousand more than what they're going for. Too bad.
