A little iphone test
Just download the dynolicious today and keen to test it out.
As the tires are pretty new, and I am still below the 2000km run-in period and 200kms for my new tires, I decided I would just do a soft launch. I shift gears at just over 4000, and I didn't floor it either, just giving it a gradual throttle increase. 0-100 at 6s - which was quite surprising - but I guess that's the most accurate figure as it is timed. May be because I was not doing a hard launch, and I actually get the curve pretty linear, it predicted it will do the 1/4 mile at 12.35, with Peak Power at 802kW. I am not setting it up right? Or is it just because they way I did the test run?

How are you securing the iphone. Keeping it in a constant, fixed position is one of the most important things you can do to try and make the results accurate.

Pull the thigh support forward on the passenger seat. Stand the iPhone vertically in the gap and then jam the thigh support back into the closed position. Holds the phone nice and firmly without damaging it and allows you to access the start/stop button at the top of the screen.

Another way to securely hold the phone in place would be to get the iphone snap in adaptor. The application also works in a horizontal position.

Race tape fixes everything!
And you need a very accurate total car weight to give you a good estimate of rwkw.
