I vote flat or maybe just a little like a semi-gloss.

I think black wheels "get lost" on a black car. I went with a shade darker than gunmetal grey on mine. Its in-between gunmetal grey and black.
But if I had to choose between matte and gloss I would do gloss all day.

The gloss is what would "get lost" on the car. Because the paint is glossy/shiny matching the wheel to it would give the entire exterior of the car essentially the same color. The matte will contrast off the glossy shine of the car which compliments each other.

I personally like Gloss Black. Probably a bit easier to wipe clean since it has a clear.

No, I prefer gloss. I'm not a big fan of mat rims.

I went with gloss, in keeping with all other gloss on my car (grills, spoiler, lip, roof soon and diffuser) but another reason was - I also couldnt make up my mind initially (before going all gloss on everything) and realised that after a few days of driving, the brake dust deposit would make my gloss rims look less shiny and almost matted, and then I would get to experience the best of both worlds! And it does happen like that haha!.

I went with semi gloss and think it's a perfect compromise.

I have just had my OEM rims painted gloss black, to go on a Black 135i, any idea how i can start a new thread to show the progress of the car from start to finish.

Thanks in advance,
