Question Is there a noticeable smell when going catless?

I've gone catless before (VW Gti) and let me be the first to say, it was unbearable when I'd be stuck in traffic or with tailwind.
Anyone behind me would know instantly that something wasn't quite right under the hood, although I never got caught

Anyone have the GF complain?

Yes, any catless car is going to be stinkier than a catted one. I doubt the N54 would be as stinky as your V-Dub though

Going catless is quite pleasant, that nasty litter box smell is gone!

I drove around with my windows down for the first time in a while today... There's definitely a smell. Some cars are worse than others, but it's definitely worth dealing with because of the performance gains.

No smell inside the cabin or with windows down for me (when car is fully warm on a warm day...). If I stand behind the exhaust then definitely smell it...

Some people seem to be more sensitive to the smell than others. I really don't notice it most of the time, but every I will catch a whiff when sitting at a red light sometimes. I really don't mind the smell though.

The smell reminds me that I'm burning fossil fuels and contributing my part to the carbon footprint!!

I've never noticed a stink from my exhaust...when the meth is spraying I can smell that in the exhaust though.

Same here.

I had it inside the warehouse at work a while back loading some stuff up, and a couple of the guys I work with commented on the smell when I started it up to pull out.

It's not as bad once it warmed up fully though.
