BOV mod- good idea?

Hey everyone, my buddy recently did the $2 dollar BOV mod on his 335i and I really like the way it sounds so I'm considering doing it too. I have all of the required materials sitting in my trunk ready to go but I want to get some more information before doing it. I know the big issue with this mod was the oil blow by. My friend got around this by putting filters at the end of the tubes. Does this setup look solid or should I just leave it alone and get a real cp+bov? I'm planning on getting a cp+BOV eventually but I kind of want to wait until my stock cp starts giving me issues or blows up. I want to do this mod just to have the cool sounds until then. What do you guys think? I'll attach a picture of my friends setup

Just get the ebay BOV adapters if you want to go cheap

(first link that came up, not cheapest)

just get a solid charge pipe and BOV, then plug the two holes on the inlet feeds.
