Wish there was one for the N55... N54 is almost ancient history, those cars must be pushing 80,000+kms

N55's are a great engine and tuning/modification options are really starting to open up which is awesome. You should make an N55 tune sheet lol

But yeah, I wouldn't say N54s are anywhere close to ancient history yet though haha

Oh dear, looks like I will have to put up with my over the hill N54 when she comes home with all her latest round of mods and barely enough power to pull the skin off rice custard

What to do

Peter...Peter...Oh Peter!! Can we do anything about this problem??

Do an N55 engine swap. It's your only option.

Nothing. That's the point I think he was making.

The N54 has its problems but still pumps out great numbers.

LOL this thread is funny.

I see its got a dash for Launch Control on Cobb. Well with Cobb you can change the launch control revs if thats what it is.

N54 vs N55, one's a go getter and one's a lazy old horse. I'll let you work out which is which. I'm on my second N54 and only have 37k on the clock. That's not even broken in yet in my books for this motor.

Is the N54 really that bad to drive? you've already retired it to garage queen status

It's not that bad. I don't mind taking you for a drive in my N54 but once you jump back into your PPK N55 you'll probably go straight home and put it up for sale.

If it gets me to work during peak hour quicker than PPK then I'm in!
