Anyone using any sort of trunk organizer?

If so, which one? How do you like it?

I need something to keep all my stuff from rolling around.

Was looking at one of these - they seem to be the best option out there, but shipping to Canada kills me.

May just bite the bullet and go for it.

I've had several cheap versions over the years in other vehicles...none of which were anything to write home about.
That one you found looks AWESOME!

Shipping and handling is 14.91. Why would that kill you?

^ From where? The link to amazon was just to show what I am looking at. They will not actually ship to me in Calgary.

Did find one on ebay for $39, plus another $37 shipping. Which is the best combined price I've seen so far.

I always look at all the sellers, not just the one on the main page. I think it was from seller Ecustomhitch.

Good find. Sort of. I actually went to their site and they have many versions of the rola 59000 - not really versions, but are badged differenlty. There is a reese one for only $35.

Go to order and they say to keep prices low, they have a minimum order of $49. wtf.

Anyways, still cheaper than what I found - except looks like they use UPS to ship, so at at a $53 item price, I will get hit with a $20 brokerage fee from ups.

Looks like I will go with my ebay find.

Too bad about the UPS. I always call or email sellers to ask if they can swtich to USPS. I've never had someone say no actually.

I'd buy one of these dividers too but I have the rubber spill mat. I don't think it will grip very well without the carpet.

Yep. This one from Griots Garage. I love it, use it to organize and store my car cleaning supplies (Speed Shine, Window Cleaner, Interior Cleaner, Water Blade, 4 different types of towels of different weaves for things like quick details, glass, drying).

It also collapses and folds up and all the dividers are movable.

I have the rubber spill mat as well. I read somewhere that the bottom was rubber, so shouldn't be too bad. Amazon says it is non-slip material. Worst case is I can bungie cord it into place.

I have actually tried calling a few times and have not had them switch. Not going to bother for this one as I only save a few dollars anyway. $53 + $15 vs. $39 + $37

The nice thing about this unit is it is a solid one piece bottom, so should give it some good stability.

I have this one and love it, mainly for grocery bags. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o00_s01_i00

Looks good. How sturdy is it? What I like about the one I linked is the base is solid, so should make is a fairly substantial unit.

I just use a couple of empty laser printer paper boxes... Not elegant, but functional.

It has a solid base and its quite sturdy. It also has handles on each side and I can lift it full of stuff out of the trunk and move it around. I'm a big fan of anything from Griot's.

I use a large plastic bin that I bought at home depot. Anything liquid goes in there, and I don't have to worry about leaks smelling up my car or shorting the battery...

I ordered the one I initially linked. Will take some pics and post some impressions once I get it.

My trunk organizer: Trunk Net

(Actually looks better than the pic, because I later narrowed the top opening with a simple mod, explained in one of the posts.)
