Issue moving used OEM TMPS to Apex ARC-8?

Hey guys,

I've got a '10 BMW 135i and I took it in to swap the TPMS sensors from the factory wheels over to a set of Apex ARC-8's. The guys at the tire shop had a hard time keeping a good seal in the metal stem. They said that they didn't seem to fit the wheel very well. I have been searching the forum like crazy since these wheels are so popular but I have yet to find someone with the same issue. Has anyone had similar issues with moving used TPMS to ARC 8's? I see three possible scenarios (in order of likelihood)...

1) I need a brand new stem kit (I read the seals may be designed to "click" in place one time only)
2) My tire guy is just not very good, I should take it elsewhere
3) The ARC 8's simply don't support them.

Thoughts?

When I did my Arc8 swap I replaced the tpms at the same time. As I remember I was having fitment issues trying to reuse the old tpms (with new seal).

Makes me feel better. Did you end up buying a new set of sensors/stems or did you just not install them? I'm okay with buying a new set of sensors actually, i've got a third set of wheels I can use these sensors on.
