Car looks awesome, you just made my mind up on color. Thanks for sharing the pic's. Can't wait to see more. My dealer told me last week that it looks like car will be in by late April or early May.

To be clear: You DO have a visible screen showing the sensor data?? If so the software has already been written and I cant believe they wouldn't show it on the 135i US version.

Can anyone else confirm/deny??

Yes my car has front and rear PDC. It automatically engages when you are reversing, and if you press a button on the dash you can manually engage/disengage. It displays the information on the iDrive screen and is very accurate.

I optioned the front PDC too so there is a button on the panel below the centre consol to deactivate it. You get a colour read-out on the Nav screen, plus of course audible warnings (different or front and rear), as per all other BMWs.

Wont be quite as fast as yours but cant wait for that 204 BHP

Ken , Leeds England

PS I have ordered Black with black leather.
Good luck Ken. You've got some great roads around your way so I'm sure you'll have loads of fun with the 123d. Black and black was my second option. Very cool.

Jack,

If you ever get the chance or care. Can you weight the 135i on a scale. Some of us are interested in how much the little monster weights. I guess it doesn't matter I will have one in my hands in 3 months as well.

Thought this was a really interesting review of the 135i, especially since you changed from a 335i... I have a 325i coupe at the moment and am seriously considering changing to a 1 series coupe (either the 120d or the 135i M Sport). I know exactly what you mean about the 'cruiser' aspect of the 3 series and the more sporty feel of the 1 coupe. The slight concern I have is that my 3 series coupe is an SE and going for the 135i in M Sport trim will give the the M Sports suspension which I am worried will feel a it too hard.

Good pics and good Christmas present!

Lucky for you, you can go on a test drive in UK. In USA we have to order base on reviews and fate.

I had a 335i sedan until a couple of weeks ago, and let someone assume the lease. I have my deposit on a 135i here, late March or early April arrival.

I loved the Logic 7 in my 335i, I thought it sounded better than any E46 stereo I've ever heard in the USA. The specs for the US stereo in the 135 look to be the same as the 3 series Logic 7. I hope upgrading the stereo was wise.

Also, all US 135i BMWs have xenon headlights standard, just like the 335i, correct?

More pictures from the original poster, please?!?

Seeing your car has solidified my decision to get Alpine White. I feel the car looks it's best in this color.

Blitz, don't worry about that. I'm in So Cal myself. I am getting the Montego Blue Metallic with the Coral Red Boston Leather. "Superman" Combo.
