2013 135i Carbon/Terracotta 6Spd; 192k miles

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
This car has been my daily driver since new. I'm going to miss it, but the replacement is coming in 2 weeks.

The dealer offered $4300 as a trade in.This works out to be ~$5000 with the sales tax deduction and DMV fees. I would rather see an enthusiast get a better deal on it than it get marked up and resold by them.

The configuration is:
Carbon Black Metallic
Terracotta, Boston Leather Seat
Anthracite Wood Trim
6-Speed Manual Transmission
M Sport Package
Premium Package
Harman Kardon Surround Sound System
Heated Front Seats

Currently it is running 3rd party rims with snow tires mounted (new tires as of November). The OEM rims come with it, but the summer tires are past the tread bars and need to be replaced.

I also have the OEM roof rack, and 2 bike holders that go with it.

It is still a blast to drive, and brings a smile to my face on every onramp.

From 10' the exterior looks great. I still think it is one of the best looking cars on the road.

The interior has no rips, cracks, or scratches. It held up amazingly well. The new car is boring black. I'm going to miss the 2-tone interior.

Full Disclosure (e.i. why I'm a terrible salesperson):
The computer thinks a light is out. I can't find it. I've checked every bulb multiple times and they all work. It may be an intermittent glitch that the computer picks up. It passes state inspection, but there is a light error chime and <!> on the dash about 60% of the time.

I have to add a quart of oil every 2k-3k miles. I replaced the gaskets at 150k-ish miles and it stopped for a while.

It has a few bumps and dings in the finish. The paint is good, no rust, just the standard door dings and an imprint of someones license plate in the rear bumper. Someone bumped it while parked - I came out of the grocery store and noticed it.

The hood release sticks. It take a little pressure on the hood to release the tension on the latch to open the hood.

I'm just inside Buffalo, maybe we can get a chance to talk about the car.

What are you trading for out of curiosity (a different car, duh, but what?)

Thanks!

Make an offer. If it's better or equal to the value that I can get from the dealer during the trade in (hopefully next week) I'll be more than willing to separate the rims. I'll take photos of them tonight.

I work down in Orchard Park and can easily meet up if you are interested in see the car in person.

As for the replacement I went with a Tesla 3.

Just received a message that the new car will be delivered this weekend.

Here are a few quick videos of the engine and walk around.
