Yeah, mine was done almost a year ago and I didn't get a sticker.

Wonder if Cavpilot2k got a sticker? I think his was done a couple of years ago.

That's because you're in cali and you have to have carb compliant stickers for any mods. It's not like that in the free part of the US.

No one will even read your posts before tearing you apart for doing Dinan. They just can't even comprehend why ANYONE would choose it over MHD or JB4. And, if you do Dinan, you're automatically a fanboi whore for them, apparently.

For the record, I love mine. I did it during the end of break-in period. I noticed a difference right off the bat, but having tuned cars before, I already assumed it would take time. Yeah...it's fucking awesome now.

The sale is over but Dinan did a permanent price reduction due to the success of the sale. It's not 50% off. I don't remember what the percentage reduction they did, but it's in this thread if you look for it.

This "new" price is what I paid before the sale. The reduction from $1300 was around before the sale. Totally worth it.

Dinan stated here that they took 25% off the pre-sale price. Not sure what that means if you paid less than $1,338.00 before the sale. The current price on their website for N55 Stage 2 software is $1,003.50

With the success of the sale it was determined to do a permanent price reduction of 25% off of the pre-sale price. Hence the odd-ball end pricing.

Yeah, not exactly sure how there was a reduced price from the $1338 price before the sale. I know I was trolling the Dinan site before the sale was announced and know for a fact the $1338 price was showing as the going cost.

davis449, just realized you're talking about a different tune than the rest of us. You're talking about the Dinan Stage 2 tune for your E89 Z4 with the N54. We're talking about the Dinan Stage 2 tune for the E82 135i with the N55. That's why the prices are different.

Yah I'm pretty happy with the flash. I wonder what would happen if I did a catless downpipe, think I'd get a check engine light? Kinda want to get some exhaust on the car now too

Another update. The honeymoon is over.....the throttle lag, unstable idle coming to a stop, and the lurching with my foot on the brake due to the surging idle is back. But it's only when I turn on the A/C. It got pretty warm here recently where I finally had to use the A/C and this is the result. I wonder if it'll get better over time as this is really the only time I've used the A/C since having the tune done and maybe the DME will eventually adapt. We'll see.

I had an issue a few weeks ago when the AC was on and the idle dipped, but hasn't happened since. My mustang had an idle calibration process I always used after flashing a tune. Is there a similar process I can do for the BMW?
