looks nice man, the gunmetal looks good with the AW
surprised there is so much stretch on the rear tire with a 255 though....makes me reconsider keeping my 255s when i move to apex ec-7..... ride height looks spot on too, no need for a drop!

Yes there is definitely some stretch on the 255 in the rear STILL.... but it does look super aggressive in person. I am having the fenders rolled next week as a precaution... and in case I decide to go up to a 265!

The idea that it's absolutely no rub whatsoever is laughable. You are the first person ever to do it . Simply by looking at the photo it's clear that it will rub when your rear compresses enough.
I ran 265 Kumho on a 9.5 rim, et 56 with max neg camber and still had to get a roll and slight pull to get "no rub". |

Looks great! Glad you're happy and not having any rubbing issues. 255's cutting it close on a +45, depends on the tire brand of course

Looks great! I'm running the same size wheels with 245 in back, so the stretch isn't THAT bad
Also, I'm lowered and I barely rub. I have the same width and diameter wheels, and same offset in the back, very slightly thinner tires, and I only rub on bigger dips when the car is loaded. With the stock suspension, I do believe that you're pretty safe from rubbing. Getting the fender roll and moving up a tire size is a good way to go though And are you running without a diffuser? hahaha pure class, sir

Yea I did do a fender roll... Like you I found that it did have a very SLIGHT rub on large dips due to the incredibly soft struts in the rear. The fitment is sick in person though and worth every bit of it
I do have a CF diffuser now from JL Motoring so no more nakey for my 1er!!

looks great!
how do you like those tires? how do they ride? loud? how are they in the wet? im currently running a similar set up but on 701 w/ a 265/30 Hankook v12 in the rear, I get a slight rub on big bumps so was thinking of going w/ a 255 this time around |
