Modified clutch delay valve and oil catch can. Later on AST or Moton coilovers.
I already have some lightweight 18" wheels that will fit just fine. Neil Last edited by MDORPHN; 12-16-2010 at 11:31 AM.. |

airbrush in black the front grill, wheels and shadow line. full intake and full exhaust, though I want something that wouldn't void the warranty or I'd wait unti the warranty finish which I'll extended.

Right off the bat, I'd do:
CDV, clutch stop, shift knob, aluminum pedals. Then to save some money, I'll either do the iCarbon CF hood if it's plug-and-plug like with the 135i plus spacers for the stock rims, or a set of Advan RS or Volk Te37sl Saving the one I don't do for later And exhaust a little further after that |

Wait for the Michelin Pilot SuperSports. Or at least the Continental 5P...

exterior mods are the first thing I do. Clear bra, air splitter/lip so if I do buttom out on a driveway i dont scratch it up, and clear bra on the windshield for rock chips.
After break in, aggressive alignment, light suspension work..ie sway bars, brakelines, next typical bolt-ons (intake, TBE) and a tune. I'm not familiar with beamers, and the 1M will be my first, but thats typ roadmap for mods. Last edited by poody; 12-16-2010 at 12:35 AM.. |

Odd how nobody has driven the final product yet, but gonna do performance mods...on a limited edition car....And not knowing the reliability factor of the car...

- AFE Drop-in (if the airbox is identical) - ETS FMIC (if it fits) - BMW Performance seats (hopefully they will come with a special version with the orange stitching so I can buy the covers - Alcantara steering wheel (BMW performance) - BMW Perfromance carbon spoiler |

A 1M would need the same initial mods as a 135i - equal sized tires all around and lots of front camber (which helps with monster fronts, as well). The 135i "needs" 18x9's with 255's while the 1M should take 18x10's (or more) with 285's. Add camber plates and voila - a car that _really_ handles. IMHO.
