More Pics of the Ambient Thermal Management FMIC
So we installed the intercooler over the weekend and installation was a breeze considering it was the first time that my mechanic had ever done a FMIC on a 1 series. I think we spent more time trying to find youtube videos, write ups and removing the million of bolts underneath the car than actually trying to get this intercooler to fit. Very minimal trimming was involved but i do have the 1M rep bumper so that might have made it easier. Installation time was about 1 hour including installing the provided J-Pipe.
Overall i am very satisfied with the kit. The quality/finish of the intercooler and the hardware provided were all top notch! Had the customers and techs at the shop drooling at how well made this kit looks and feels. I can definitely say that acceleration seems smoother. Only thing i'm missing is Down pipes and upgraded turbos to be full bolt on. Got to take care of Uncle Sam first though since i owe money unfortunately in taxes. yup! TurboBullett@Ambient Thermal Management make some very legit stuff! There were a bunch of other guys at the shop getting stuff installed and they couldn't stop talking about the overall fit and finish of the product.
