Cop Control option?

Hey guys,

The dealer printed the specs of my car and it has the follwoing two options, which I have no idea:

1CA Selection cop relevant vehicules
8SP Cop Control
840 High speed synchronisation

Any idea?

COP is "Coil On Plug", or BMW's ignition system using coils on top of each spark plug instead of a central firing distribution system.

To my knowledge, the 840 High Speed Snychronization option refers to the increased top speed limiter as a part of the sport package.

I bought by car off the lot, would this be something I can upgrade to?

Damn. I was hoping this was something new that zaps an officer as he come up to write you a ticket!

They all have it. That stuf is probably put on the list for emissions system tracking or something administrative. Coil on plug is the standard ignition system on these cars.
