A Quick Answer Would Be Great!
I notice this rubber part by my car after I swapped out my water pump, thermostat, spark plugs and coil packs. I don’t recognize it. For reference, it is about 1.25 x 1.25 inches in size. It also has no apparent part number, but does have “44” labeled on it. I’d really appreciate someone who could tell me what it is and where it goes. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the suggestion. After looking at tools and other equipment that could have been the origin, I looked at realoem for another hour and figured out it is the rubber piece that goes underneath the air box. It must have come out with the previous owner and popped out when I pulled off the under-trays. Thanks again for the effort!

Makes sense. Seeing the part pictured the first thing that ran through my mind is that it would have been an isolator for vibration. In retrospect, suspect the engine mount rubber bushing is a wee bit bigger in diameter than the 1.25" diameter part you found. ; -)
