I noticed the crack in the center of my brake light as well... car is only 2 days old =(
Also a little nick and some clearcoat scratches on the left side of the trunk so I guess I'll touch it up and wax it over =\ Gonna call the local tinting/clearbra place and see how much it'll cost to do my front... if it's not that bad I may go for it |

Seems a little too pricey just for the front of the car... but I've heard nothing but good things about the place. |

About a month ago I was driving to work. It was dark still but at the last second I see something shoot up from under a truck in front of me. It sounded like a plastic toy truck.
Tried to avoid it but it hit the bottom of my front fairing below the grill. When I got to work I found a small nick above and below the bottom lip. Damn!

http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...ind_Installer/ I believe I paid $800 for everything, including down both lower rocker panels (between front and rear tires) and the fender area behind all four wheels.

Yes, I was stupid enough to open the hood while the wind shield wipers were in the up position after my first car wash and only 3 days of ownership. As a result, I got a small nick at the edge of the hood facing toward the wind shield. Since then, I will never open up the hood with the wind shield wiper in the up position.

Every day when I get home from work I take my Mothers detailer and a cloth and wipe every bug off my white paint. I did find one chip in the bumper so far, have about 4000 miles now maybe.

my gf opened the passenger door at a gas station and hit one of those gas pump barriers. It chipped the paint on the edge of the door...I wasn't even mad because it was an accident and was just the first of many inevitable flaws to come over time...but she looked at me and then started crying. She swore at that moment to help me wash the car whenever I wash it. She knows I love her but sometimes I still have to remind her that she is more important than the car.

Yes, the gas door is dangerously located on the passenger side and it is pron for the passenger open the passenger door and hit something during a gas station visit. You just have to watch out and don't park close to the pump or remind your guest to open the door gently.

I do have a one weird crack and not sure how this happened as there are no dents or scratches in this area. Trying to see if it’s some sort of defect in the plastic that caused it to crack and have it replaced under warrranty. Here is a few photos. What do you guys think is it a defect???
I have the same crack plus one on the far right side and one in between (3 cracks) - after seeing this post I went to my dealer and it is being fixed under warranty. Thanks |

Just this morning on the expressway (which I normally don't take but I was running late), a small rock hit my passenger door. When I got work, I looked and it scratched the lower part, took some of the paint out. Also have a few tiny paint chips on the front fenders and bumper.

I am always trying to train myself to not worry about these kinds of things, and I try to just enjoy the car. For godsake,I'm almost 40. I enjoy the power on a daily basis, and i try not to worry about every rock ding.

I have a smaller than dime size nick in the bumber from someone elses license plate screw... 3 quotes say its 300 to fix bc they would need to take off the bumper even for something that small...
ouch..

I let a friend drive, he went over a speed bump and scraped the front spoiler. I haven't got the courage to look under the spoiler to see what damage was done. Also 3 nice abrasive marks on the hood, done by me with a sponge that picked up grit or something. Want to get it done professionally as I will probably make it worse if I try to repair it myself.

Hit and Run
Besides the requisite crack in the center of the third brake light, a couple of weeks ago I walked out to my car to find this. Some a-hole backed into it, and drove off without leaving his info. My neighbors saw it happen and got down the license plate number so I think we can get the bastard. It's a felony in the state of VA. Ugh this car, as much as I love it, has been such bad luck.

I just started to find little nicks here and there on the car. Only 6K miles on it and its not even winter. Wonder how the paint will hold up.
