Just ordered a new 135 Vert
Ordered every option except the active Steering. Anyone that has a 135 with sport package have any problems with the wheels getting nicked or scratched....anyone take it thru a car wash?
Also, what are your impressions with the RFT's as far as ride quality? Since the tires are staggered, can they be rotated side by side? My wife will be the basic driver, and she loves it. Got it in Water Blue, Taupe, black top, and gray wood. $400 over invoice, 2 free payments, and 3.9 financing. |

Got mine in October, thankfully 0.9% financing (amazing), specs are in my signature. LOVE the car, it is just true true fun.
Be nice to it and break the engine in properly. Don't worry, going slow in the beginning, slow in this car is a relative term. Even with half thrust and 4000rpm max, I was toasting people with little effort. No problems with the wheels getting nicked/scratched. They just get reeeeeeally dirty very quickly. Ride quality is tight as a drum, easy to drive.

I've had passengers complain about the ride quality over particularly bumpy areas, but I don't mind it at all. My wheels haven't gotten scratched or anything either, but like tbird said, they do get extremely dirty from the brake dust. Haven't taken it through a car wash, just wash it myself, but be careful because the windows are frameless, if the wash uses a particularly strong water jet, a little might seep in! Congrats on the car!

Oh yea, forgot to mention, NOT a good idea to take any vert to the auto car wash. It is an unfortunate bit that we always have to hand wash it, or do the manual spray jet car wash, just a price to pay for having such a completely cool car. I think I can live with it.

Please everyone, don't use a carwash, at least one with brushes. I was at work last week and saw a black 3series with the sun really showing the hood. The thing had more swirls than an average crop circle. Hand washing takes time, but if ya wanna keep it looking new.................
