Just out of pure curiosity, what "normal" cars are faster than a FBO N54 135i? By normal I mean cars you see everyday, so not GTRs, 911's, super cars, etc. I'm know the F10 M5's will walk us like we're not even moving and I'm assuming F8x's will also walk us. What about E60 M5's and E9x M3's? Mustangs? Camaros? Again, this is just out of curiosity. I just want to know who's worth playing with

I went up against an E60 M5 in my stock 2011 6-speed 135i. I dusted the M5 from low speeds, but he caught up to me around 120.

When I was a kid I studied both the stats in the back of Road & Track and the graphics in Playboy and Penthouse.

This thread reminds me of those days.

Like what you drive and drive what you like! Just don't fall in love with it unless you can take it to bed.

Depends on what "faster" means to you. I'm pretty sure my 1er is "faster" off the line than my E92 M3, although the M3 is undoubtedly faster in all other situations .

Sounds like you haven't met my 1er. Feel like I fill up every time I sit down in it.

Once when I was out for a midnight drive I came up to a GTO from the mid 2000s, and this guy was revving his engine and wanted to go so when the light turned green we both stepped on it and stayed neck and neck for about a quarter mile or so. That was definitely a thrill and I was proud of my little 1er.

From experience:
  • ZR1 Corvette (any doubt there? Lol)
  • ZL1 Camaro

Car's I've pulled:
  • FBO Golf R - Stage 2
  • FBO '16 Mustang GT
  • '06 GTO - Unsure on mods, definitely exhaust
  • Every STI/WRX - They slay in the corners though
  • Audi S7 - Stock
  • Challenger SRT-8 - Tune/exhaust
  • Dodge Neon SRT-4 - Big single turbo, 400+whp, not sure how I won this one

Must of been a bad driver in the M5 as I would easily beat my 2013 135i in my 2008 M5.

A new Mustang GT couldnt keep up to my 135 on a 60-100 on the highway.

Its crazy how fast all cars have gotten, so many things under 6 sec 0-60 and even below 5 sec. Was telling my friend just the other day my 135 is faster than a Ferrari Testarossa, didnt believe me till he looked it up.

I blew off a Focus ST from a stop light (he started it, not me). He had a tune and exhaust.

We started from a 5-10 mph roll and I immediately had him a length and a half because he had to shift to 2nd gear. He couldn't catch me either.

its funny cuz up to 130.. I do great against pretty much anything.. then the governor cuts in and they blow past me like I'm parked.
stayed 2 cars behind a v the other night.. till 130.. and then ofcourse all I saw was tail light..
then I pulled up next to him and justified my actions.. with... my car cuts off at 130,bone stock, etc etc.. just wanted to make him feel like his super cadi isn't that super..
all he did was give me the neck chop sign language.. yea buddy..let me find you when I put 2500 into a 15k car and park ur ass!!!

I'm not sure what difference the driver would have made. This was an SMG III car with the M button depressed up against my car in a straight line and I absolutely walked him up until just beyond 120 when he caught up. The S85 V10 has to rev out to 6,100 rpm to hit its torque peak of 364 lb. ft. The N55 is developing it's full 300 lb. ft. from 1,200 to 5,000 and it certainly shows.
