Dinan Stage 2 vs JB3

I have the Dinan Stage 2 Flash and love it. Other mods include GTS-R wheels with RE-01R tires. However, my best time at the track has been a 12.85 and I consistently run 12.9s. I think this is good, but have to say the JB3 seems like it's the 'real deal' and kind of wish I had it instead of the Dinan Flash. I have "POWER" regrets...comments...

Well you have a warranty...it's good considering the HPFP failures. I have a stage 2 flash aswell and don't regret it at all.....by the way I think a dinan generates more power then a JB3 aslong as the JB3 is in lower Maps...the only way people are generating strong #'s are like in Map 7,8,9 and that is unrealistic for daily driving.

Thanks for the reply...your comments make me feel a lot better about my choice with Dinan. I just always want more 'Power'

Either way, you really can't beat a street car that runs 12s.

Also, I run map 7 daily and have no issues whatsoever. I went to the strip for the first time ever a few weeks back and it was damp. They were trying to keep it dry, but it was a futile effort... It kept sprinkling on and off and I only got 1 run in before a real downpour started and they shut things down for the day.

With a bunch of "junk in my trunk" (spare helmet, subwoofer & amp, folding chair, etc), tire pressure set to what I run on the street and low-60 degree temps, I pulled off a 1.92 60' and went 12.75 @ 108 mph. Obviously room for improvement, but not too shabby, all things considered.

so the track was still damp when you ran that time?

theres so much improvement on that 60ft time too, you should be able to get it into the low 12s

You can make over 400rwhp on the race maps with 100 oct fuel.

We haven't had the need to even touch the race maps yet, we are still running on map3 which is the conservative street map. We haven't even touched map 7 yet which is the high boost street map.

We've been running their JB3 system for almost 2 years now and no issues to speak of. The car has been scanned by the dealership level tools and there are no ghost codes stored for them to give my a hassle about.
