Factory head unit.

Hey guys. I have noticed a weird trend with my factory head unit.

When the car is cold, all the pixels in the head unit work flawlessly. But after its been on for a little while they start to fade until i almost can't read anything. Is this common?

Also when trying to use the voice dial feature it seems like its not registering my voice. Just keeps saying "please speak" and then "System off".

I know off hand the factory HU pixels fade during winter/summer months if your under warranty they can replace it. (granted I swapped mine out with the quickness LOL) many of my friends have had the fading issue for a while

Mine fade and I'm out of warranty. I also noticed that if I wear polarized sunglasses all orange turns to black and I can't ready any displays! LOL POS

Fading pixels happen to me only when running the heat. It may not be possible where you live (at this time of the years), but try turning off the heat and see if you get a different result.
