New Owner and Member
Hey 1adds,
I've been snooping around here for the last month or so while I've been shopping and finalizing my car choice. I never thought I'd own a convertible (hence my member name). I picked up my 2009 135i M-Sport Convertible in Space Grey/Moonlight Black top with Lemon interior and last night. It was a CPO purchase with 12,000 miles and is in incredible condition. Still smells new! I think it has every option but comfort access. I wouldnt have selected this color scheme, but I have to admit, the combo works and I'm loving it. I am coming from a 2002 GTI 337 Edition which I bought new 10 years and 155K miles ago. It was a very good car to me and I hope this car follow suit. I look forward to learning and contributing to the great group here. Requisite photo. Not the best shot(wasnt final detailed yet) I should be able to get some Einzette on her soon. Glamour shots will follow. |

Great choice on the 'vert! Don't let any of the boy racers who lurk
in the gutters here tell you otherwise. Have fun and welcome! |

What makes you say that? I think the m sport package (on this car anyway) is way overrated but still a nice option to have. Sort of like the nav lol. However bmw sells a tun of m sport 1ers so something must be right about it.
Off topic though sorry. Welcome and beautiful color combo. |

Congrats! You'll love it. I love my 136i vert. Take the roof off, find a tunnel and let loose.
In Aust, 135i's only come with the M-Sport package. Not optional.

Thanks for the warm welcome and compliments. Day 3 and I'm getting some seat time under my (seat) belt. What an awesome car. Last BMW was an e30, you can see why this car was attractive to me.

Now you've got the perfect car to explore the mountains of upstate NY & New England. And Gaspe and Nova Scotia were delightful in our 128i cabrio.
Just don't forget to apply a good sunblock. Enjoy! Tom |
