Auto locks

Yo 1'rs,
Is there the option to have your doors lock when you put the car in drive (auto trans) or when the car moves forward? I really like the option.

I know my folding mirrors fold out when I hit 30mph and if the doors are locked the first time I pull on the latch it unlocks then you have to pull it again to open.

I see a lot of customizable options in the manual but trying to cut thru all that

Thanks!

You should read your manual(s) COVER TO COVER!!!.
But just this once:

Automatic locking
You can also set the situations in which the car locks:
1. "Settings"
2. "Door locks"
3. Select the desired function:

> "Lock if no door is opened" The central locking system automatically locks the vehicle after a short
time if no door has been opened.
> "Lock after start. to drive" The central locking system locks the vehicle as soon as you begin to drive.

I followed the manual and went into the menu and could not find the lock feature. As I cycled thru only had 3-4 functions and none were the locking feature. Am kind of stupid when it comes to this stuff.....I will attempt again today.

Car needs to be running for certain settings to be accessible (including the one discussed in this thread).

+1. Running but not moving! Some bc menu's screens disappear as soon as your drive.

Thanks for all the feedback

Mine locks when I get to 10mph. I like it that way - but only because I made a coding change that unlocks the doors when I remove the key from the ignition.

I have the same setup. I quite like it as well.

All is good.....got it going. Funny thing, the programmable fob messed with my mind. I was using the old fob that the previous owner was using and the GF recommended me use the new one since the car is new to me. All the pre-set variables were different

I felt like a dumb a$$. Guess one day I should just go thru them all and set up to my liking but there are a lot of things.

Just a stupid shot in the dark...

Anybody have a list of good recommended settings?

Thanks!
