wanted: 18in for track days 135i
Looking for a set of track rims.
let me know if you have rim and tyre 18in package or if you have just some tires that I can use on my BMW 261 18in original rims sitting in my garage that will do for now. If I remember I think the 261's come standard with Front 215/40/18, Rear 245/35/18. Not sure how wide I can go on the M261's.

Get in contact with BMW86. He had some wheels for sale recently.
And legally I believe you can go to 235 on the front and 265 on the back.

The stock style 261's are 7.5" and 8.5" wide.
Each tire model has a min and max recommended RIM width. Popular upgrade on style 261's is 225/40 in the front, and 255/35 in the rear. Wider than this will potentially numb down your steering precision. Be careful with track worthy tires, especially R-compound tires as they are wider and will rub on your fender and/or struts. You will need to get thinner ratios than above.
