Will these VMR wheels rub on stock or aftermarket suspension?

I would like to pull the trigger on a set of VMR 18" VB3s for my 135, but am worried about the front and rears rubbing, on stock and eventually a Eibach sprint kit. Here are the wheels sizes..

18" VMR VB3
18x8.5 et40 with 225/40/18 tire
18x9.5 et45 with 255/35/18 tire

My question is, will i rub on stock suspension, with this setup and on a Eibach spring kit? The offsets seem very aggressive and incorrect.

I have this exact set up on stock. No rubbing whatsoever . . . with Hankook tyres, you may have some differing results with other rubber though.

With a 255 tire in the rear you may get some rubbing on the quarter panels, assuming you do not do any fender modification.

On stock suspension there's a possibility, depending on the tire, that you could rub with the ET45 in the rear under compression. Some tires run wider, truer, or narrower than other tires. What were you considering going with?

i have no idea right now. any suggestions for tires that run narrow and have stretch on them?

A 255/35/18 on a 9.5 isn't going to be stretched, but different tires have varying sidewall characteristics. Toyo T1Rs for instance run narrow and have a somewhat rounded sidewall, whereas Bridgestone RE-11s run wide and have more square shoulders. You would be much more likely to rub with the RE-11s than the T1Rs.

Did you need an all season or a summer tire?
