Convertible 135 w/ 1M front spotted - Fort Lauderdale, FL (w/ crappy pics)

I spotted this AW 135 convertible with a 1M front conversion at the Fort Lauderdale airport a few weeks ago and thought I'd share. Sorry for the crappy pictures. The car was parked for a second and then sped away before I could get a good pic. Anyways, the car looked excellent!! Is this a forum member's whip? Anyone have more photos?

Brilliant photography! 1st is beautifully shot with a sign blocking the front.
2nd shot is even better so crisp.

Finally, someone who respects my skills as a professional photographer .

All kidding aside, I think I was pretty clear in my original post and in the thread title that my pictures were crappy. But at least you can still see that the car has a 1M bumper and fenders pretty clearly in the fist picture.

Anyways, I'm just trying to share what little bit I have. I was hoping the owner or a friend was on the forums and would be willing to share better photos.

is it a real 1M bumper? Or a standard 135 track bumper?

Admit it Maximus, those are spy shots of a 1M Cabrio/Vert test (disguised with 135i camouflage to mislead us) which you "accidentally" shot and and posted without giving away too much detail.

I would daresay a real one because the front fender has the M badge on it and a stock 135i bumper wouldn't mate with a 1M front fender

Scott said two years ago that if the 1M sells well and if bmw sees a high demand for the 1M that they would make a 1M cabrio...

Scott isn't in the business of lying to his loyal followers...so theres still a chance!

Your "drives:" reminds me of this:

Does Scott pull that much power at BMW? Assuming the E82/88 cycle is going to be a 7 year one. Then I guess we will find out by 2015. I do hope they do for your sake, but with the N54 not meeting emissions requirements(either in the USA or Cali) I doubt it would hold more than 320ish (claimed) horsepower from the PPK'd N55 unless they put out a higher output version. If so, things could get very, very interesting.

It is an authentic 1m front end. You can tell by the thickness of the fender edge. The rear of the car is still the original 135i width as you can see it is much thicker than the front.

The Monarch is the best youve got?

I prefer to think of myself as Doctor Henry Killenger...his persona goes well with my magic murder bag
