Anybody on the "Diamond Ray"?

Finally!! !...After 15 days at the port my car is on its way!!!...According to my SA, my car left on the 28th and scheduled to arrive in California on the 7th. Thats only 11 days at sea!!! Is this even possible???

I might be. I haven't got a ship name from my SA. My car arrived at port on March 15.

Whazzzup Shizzle! I'm on the Dee-Ray too. SC BMW said estimated docking was 4/8 (same diff), and then has to clear customs, etc. He said its Ok to start getting excited, it will be here before I know it. Funny guy...

Wsupp Snowman...im getting my E90 from SC as well. Who's your SA? I hope the 8th of april is accurate. But the http://www.dbh.de/index.php?id=151&L=0 website says ETA is on the 19th of april. I dunno, the 8th seems like wishfull thinking but If it's on the 8th, ill take it!!!

ok...when u click on that page, under "Export" type "Port Hueneme"...then below change the date to march 27, 2006...the next page will show you the port name, just click on it.

Ok, cool. I was typing in Bremerhaven. Hmmm, 4/19. I'm calling back to SC and see why they see something diff. 4/19 seems more realistic, but 4/8 is 12 days at sea.

Just spoke with my SA and he agrees that 4/8 seems a little quick given a 3/27 departure.

I just talked to a representative for NYK line and she told me that the scheduled arrival for the vessel is the 21st of April. Unfortunately we have no way of tracking the vessel through their website for some weird reason, so she told me to call her if I needed to check the status of the vessel. Hope that helps.

I check the 800# about everyday, and today it said "in transit". Being that there is a delay in relayed info to the 800# I think I'm on the same ship. Tried to call my CA today to get a ship name but she's off.

So I guess it is safe to get excited now

Anybody got more updated info on where the Diamond Ray is? Is this one of those ships you can't GPS track on a website?

I dont think u can. Try calling NYK line located in NY and have them connect to the Ro/Ro department. Talk to this lady named Annika and she should be able to confirm that your car is in that ship as well as give you updated location of the vessel. Hope that helps.

I'm on the "Diamond Ray"!!!

My dealer had no clue how to find the vessel name. I called BMWNA to show my dealer how to look it up. Dealership changed ownership about a year ago, so this may be understandable. I'm just so happy I was able to find out. Ahead Full! According to my SA, the 'Ray should dock on 4/21, but who knows. I have to wait a week or two after you guys get your cars to get mine anyway.

So hey everyone - is the Diamond Ray coming in to dock on 4/19 or 4/21? When I look at the San Diego link (http://www.sdmis.org/schedule) the 'Ray is not listed in the expected ships. I'm curious if San Diego is a different harbor than Port Hueneme?

Who's got the 411 on this?

Port Hueneme is in LA. The 'Ray may not be making a stop in SD. Anyhow, our cars are gonna be unloaded this week!!!
