Finally doing a modest suspension upgrade, bushing & spacer questions!!!

Hey all,
I've got 65K on my old girl and I'm finally at a point where I'm getting a mild suspension upgrade. Coils aren't an option for me so I'm just going koni adjustable with H&R OE Springs cause I'm afraid of scraping and brick streets are all over here in Winter Park.

I've read H&R sport vs OE springs are about a half inch off, OE for ~1 inch and sport for ~1.5 - does that count in my sport suspension? I also have non standard tires on my stock wheels, I run 225/45s up front and 235/45s in the rear, worried about rubbing with lowered and pushing the wheels out.

Couple questions, what M3 bushing kit can I get and install at this point with just doing shocks and springs? I already have the E93 M3 front sway bar.

I also want to do spacers, keep in mind I'm on the stock 17s from 08 sport but I'd like to move the wheels a bit farther out and stick with the stock wheels because I'm just not a $2000 fan of any aftermarket wheels on an other wise stock 1 series. I'm also interested in a stud conversion kit so suggestions are appreciated.

In the end I want to keep the car driveable, but improve the handling, I may get back into autocrossing this winter but that remains to be seen.

Thanks & happy Friday all!

Absolutely can not go wrong with BMS products.

As far as bushings go, I'd recommend the Whiteline 2-pc RSFBs for your application. Same end result as the M3 rubber bushings, but you can do it yourself assuming you can get the stock bushings out on your own. The 2-pc replacements don't need to be pressed in and the subframe doesn't have to be dropped completely.

+1 to everything ShocknAwe said. I have the same Whiteline kit and love it.
