V1 won't help you. I had it in my other hot rod and I was still getting 6 tickets in 2 years. You have to change your driving habits, like dirve slower and do not travel alone or being the first car in the fast lane. Always follow some one is the safest way to avoid speeding ticket. If you want to drive fast, go to the track and practice your skills.

I would beg to differ, I have seen the v1 in action and that thing worked flawlessly. I have seen it tested and that thing worked like a charm, maybe yours was busted? And alot more guys have said it paid for itself 20 times over. Also I don't speed all the time its just when I do decide to overtake a car on the highway I don't want to be surprised like I was that got me my last ticket.

The cops this day don't turned on their radar or laser gun all the time. When they aim their guns at you, you were already clocked. Most people claim that it works (and it does work as advertised), it is because the car in front of them already got clocked and they detected the signal behind it and slow down and claimed they get away from a ticket but actually the car in front of them already got a ticket already. I am not saying it won't work, and in some cases, it does save your ass. I have seen 5 police cars lined up on a hidden exit ramp, and one guy hold the laser guy before them and radio down stream which cars to give the speedy car a ticket; and if you are in this situation, V1 may save you a ticket. But don't count on it since V1 wasn't very effective with laser gun. I am telling you based on my true experience. I had a V1 for about 1 year and finally sold it to some one. I just want to warn you that even you got the V1, you are not 100% fool proof.

Nothing is 100% fool proof but I know that the v1 is the best and there is nothing wrong with having the best to help out.

For the best protection you need a V1 and a Laser Jamer.

V1

The V -1 works good....I have 3. 1 is about 12 years old and continues to save my ass! Be careful if you buy used. The older ones are a bit bigger and lack features depending how old it is. You should go to the valentine website and enter the serial # and info for that unit will come up .. You can send it to them for an upgrade if you want.....$$$
There are other great detectors out there, but I believe Valentine is the only one that will give credit for trade-in......thats neat, although my old one still works great. I carry it for rentals when out of town..

V1 and a K40 Laser Diffuser is the best way to go.
