Which tire

Looking to get rid of my crappy RFT's on stock 264 rims and get something with great dry performance only (Ride wet quiteness etc dosent matter). Want something that can help me put the power down as I am FBO and e50 Pro tuned (DEFIV Diff lock kit going in next week). Any recommendations (Any nitto tires out there that are good or any other brand). Would be going with 225 Front and 255 Rear.
Thanks

These are both good choices.

I vote ZIIs. I use them and love them, though in a bigger size. I'd start thinking about a LSD with the power you're making.

ZIIs really like to be overloaded on the wheel. With their sidewall construction they can handle it fairly well.

What is the max tire size that can be run on stock 264 rims.

Direzza's run wide, so probably 255s.

I have ZII's 225/255 on 264 rims, love them for track/auto-x, and they have a lot of grip on the street compared to my street/road tires. They are a great choice if you don't mind noise.

I am somewhat in a similar boat. I'm looking for winter tires I was planning on going with a 225/and 255/ but cant really find much for the stock 261 style rim without doing any fender rolling etc. What center numbers do you plan on running if you proceed with this set up?

This thread was mostly dedicated to performance specific tires. If you're looking for 225/255s you shouldn't have to worry about the fenders regardless of the tire type. I'm a bit confused what you're asking.
