Tyre sizing advise!!!

I bought this 09 135i recently. It came with Volks G25 19" Rims.
Front, 8.5 +36 , with 225/40/19
Rear, 9 + 50 , with 265/35/19

I'm rubbing on the front and rear, when hitting dips at high speed. The tyres are running out too, what size should i be looking for?

You need to try to add some camber up front. And those tires are too tall for those wheels. The brand of tire will make a difference in width and shoulder profile. Are you more concerned with staying as wide a you can or is the rubbing bothering you bad?

The best sizes for those wheels would be 235/35/19 fr and 255/30/19 r. Since you rub in the front already, assuming you don't get to add some camber, then you should probably get 225/35/19fr and 245/35/19r in a Toyo T1R or something that runs similarly small.

I'm running on PSS now and plan on using them again for the next set of tyres. Rubbing is an issue for me but not so much anymore as i've rolled the fender several times. They still rub under certain circumstances though

I would get 225/35/19 for the front. However you will probably need a little bit of camber to make it fit without any rubbing. You can remove the camber pins to get extra 4mm of space - it will be a help if its very close.

For the rear you can choose 245/35/19 or 255/30/19. The Michelin PSS in 255/30/19 should be fine if you already rolled the fenders (Hopefully).

Wow Chewren. PSSs run wider than many tire brands (especially the Asian brands). If you have them fitting at those sizes, for sure you'll be much better with 225/35/19fr since it won't be as tall. In the rear you'll be much better with either of the two rears sizes we have mentioned. I have 255/30/19 PSSs and still rub at max camber but my car is lowered and my wheels are wider with poorer offsets.

Way too much sidewall. That is all. Switch to 35 front and 30 rear and you will probably be fine.

Should i get the 265 or 255? I'm still rubbing when hitting dips on the road. My fenders are rolled mildly. Appreciate all your inputs guys, Thanks!!

Also, I have plans to lower the car soon. Would a 255 or 265 in the rear be more appropriate?
