Does BMW produce anywhere a list of fixes and/or enhancements contained in these updates? In such a digital car, it would be nice to know the complete list of things the update fixes. For example, in US-spec E90s, one of the big differences between a 325i and a 330i is the engine management software.

I would be interested to know if an update to add MP3 capability to iDrive E90s might also change the parameters of the engine management software.

I already bought a 2006 BMW 330I w/o Nav. Do you think i could buy/upgrade the comfort access option for our car now? Is it a software update thing? This is the first time i heard of Confort Access. Please fill me in with any information you had about this option. I hope this option could be added to our new car. Thanks!

If I take delivery on Oct 7 in Munich, does this mean my car will have the update that is supplied on Sept 5?

Should, seeing as the german factories are closed in August ( SA factory keeps working) your car would be made in September, thus have the update

My e90 was finally ordered today and I received a production number. Mystic Blue and Comfort Access are both definately orderable now. I can't wait to see this thing. Hopefully, the 18 months of waiting for this car will have been worth it!

Interesting how this coincides with the price increase, and that the brochure is about product planning and strategy...
