RacingBrake Group Buy info...

for those of you interested in some of their pieces RB has posted up a group buy forum for reduced prices

http://forums.racingbrake.com/showthread.php?t=939

The more than jump in on it the bigger the discount.

" We just updated our post for the group buy offering a 15% discount for 5 orders and 20% discount for 10 or more. "

Just got an email from Alex at RB saying they lowered the thresholds to get better discounts. Post in here if you're in!

I'm in for the 350mm.

What if we don't reach the GB numbers? Also, does he have them in stock and how soon can he send them out?

I signed up for the GB. My only concern is the GB will stretch out for months and we will never get the numbers. The RB's don't seem too popular, I'm assuming it's mainly due to price. I'm ready to order today if I can though.

I'd guess that if numbers aren't reached then the gb pricing wouldn't apply. Keep your fingers crossed that people jump on board!! It's really a top notch product.

I've done my research and this seems like the best setup you can get, unless you pay $3700 for a BBK.

I hope we get the numbers together as it's a decent saving but I needed new rotors weeks ago.

Focusedintntions,

do you know if the RB 335i caliper upgrade works for e82?
http://forums.racingbrake.com/showthread.php?t=931

It could be a better path for 128i owners vs the sourcing of used 135i calipers/brakes + RB upgrade or rebuild.

I'm not sure how they'd work...i thought the 335 and 128's brakes were completely different??

as far as I know from what I read, 128i/135i BMP/ 135i front brakes work on 328i/325i, and 335i brakes mount on 328i ( only brake lines could have issue). Therefore RB BBK 335i should work...

e90 pilot has the 135 brakes on his car...I believe he needed a special bracket from bmw to get them to work...the 335 bbk rotor is too thick to fit into the 135/bmwpf calipers though...

interesting, i will do more searching on the fit of calipers

I agree the 335 rotor is too big for 135i/BMP brakes, and the RB 335i kit doesn't apply.

I meant to say that for 128i without BMP brakes, perhaps another option exists: RB 335i BBK kit, which features new calipers, pads, rotors( various size)

Will our stock brake pads work with 350mm front BBK rotors.

Thanks.

At this time there is no larger rotor upgrade for the rear. You can however get the pistons to rebuild the rears.

Don't know when. But i'm guessing it'll be in direct correlation as to how many people clamor for them.

Racing Brake rear BBK

Just spreading the word...

Was looking at RB's site and saw this:

Got curious, checked their forum and saw the last post in this thread (posted yesterday):
http://forums.racingbrake.com/showth...highlight=135i

I'm interested to see if they offer a complete 4 rotor & 4 bracket kit... I have Christmas money to spend!
