BBS LM Reps

I'm really wanting to get a set of LM reps for my 135i. I have M sport suspension, and my car is daily driven. I'm not after anything super aggressive or "hella flush," I would just like a nice clean practical semi flush look. I'm having some trouble getting accurate information on sizing, suspension, and/or body modifications that may be needed. The has done more damage to me than good. I'm reading too much about camber plates, offsets, toe in/out, kalamazoos, bamboozles, and more. I do not want to have to do any fender rolling or suspension modifications. Can someone comment on this for me, or direct me to proper information that will help sort things out. I just want to know size and off set for a staggered set up and a suggested tire size for them. Thanks in advance.

I want those too, but I don't think 18x9.5 et45 is ideal for the rear of a 1er.

I am beyond tempted to get these. I am pissed I didn't see them before getting new rims. I wonder how these would looks on cashmere silver.

Look. I've read the thread before, and I believe BavarianX was selling a +48 offset for the rear, which would require a 5mm spacer to prevent vibration. Now, the manufacturer has revised the wheels to a specific (+45) offset to prevent people from mounting these in the rear with a spacer. On the other hand, there is another manufacturer called ESM, who happens to have LM reps as well, and it only comes with 18-8/35 and 18-9/40. They seem off with the numbers but they actually fit the 1. I would say go with what BavarianX some for a peace of mind.

They work, I'm running 19x9.5 et 45 rear and I have no issues at stock height. 18s should be even more manageable, no rubbing with that size unless you're going to pile fat chicks into your rear seats. Check my sig to see offset 45 in rear

No, I never got a reply. Figured with the holiday and all. I'm torn on what to buy. Was also looking at Forgestars today. If I had my way, I'd order a set of CCW's, but that is $3k worth of go fast parts I can buy. I'm also debating on just keeping my stock 18's for a year and using the money for go fast stuff. I'm going to order a COBB tuner tomorrow. As much as I like the look of the LM wheels, I want something that fits properly for one, and I don't want something cheap and heavy, just because it looks good. I had Alufelgens on my last E90 and I really liked them, but want something different than the usual CSL wheel. We are just so limited on good stuff for the 1er's.

I would put money on reps being heavier. Tends to be the case that cheap wheels weigh more. BMW wheels aren't especially light but a rep will still be more.

Just to add. These are a uk firm and expensive but similar will be available in the states and no doubt cheaper! But custom wheels that look like LMs but are high spec and true split rim and you can pick your offset, width and dish.

From what I remember the Eurotek/MM6 replica wheels are 2-3 lbs lighter per wheel than our stock wheels.
