Virtual Dyno+Cobb Logs

I did two 3rd gear pulls last Friday in some 80 degree weather and came out with this.

I am full bolt (BMS Intake, ER FMIC, ER Charge, Tial Q BOV, RR DP, RR exhaust, KWV1, Apex Arc 8 245/18/40, 275/18/35, Nitto NT01) on a Cobb stage 2+ aggressive map with 83k miles (Never cleaned intake) and pulled these numbers.

I have never used Virtual Dyno or COBB, im coming from the JB4 but these look low?

Cobb Raw Files:
Pull One
Pull Two

as I said in the other forum, the weight you input into VD is wrong, the total weight of your car plus your weight cannot be 3250.

Im going to get my car on a cat scale. I didn't realize how much of a difference it would make on that scale. Plan on doing a few 4th gear pulls this weekend too.

My car is a 6spd manual n54, with premium package, full tank it weighed 3400. Add the drivers weight ~150lbs, hes got to input closer to 3550... then he will get more realistic numbers.

This +2. If the VD thinks you accelerated a lighter car in the same amount of time, its actually less power than if you accelerated a heavier car in that same time.

You're getting timing corrections across multiple cylinders. Might be time for new plugs, intake valve cleaning, or you might be running crappy gas.

From 2500rpm to 6000rpm it took 6.1 seconds... In 3rd gear on first pull and 5.7 sec on second pull
Is that a good time ?? Or it doesn't really matter??

During normal driving you'll have some that's why we log in WOT, but if your car is running right and your tune's not too aggressive for the octane you should have no to little timing corrections. On your logs I can see up to 3 degrees of corrections which in my opinion is excessive. I can send you my clean logs where I have no timing corrections on all cylinders on 93 octane and E85 mix.

You might not feel the corrections but you're leaving some power and responsiveness on the table.

I think im going to get off of Stage 2+ aggressive. I am reading and being advised that 18-19 PSI on 93 octane is bad news and will enviably ruin or blow my engine....

Its seems there's almost always some timing corrections for my Stg 1 Sport or Aggressive maps. Talked to cobb, based on the logs Josh @ cobb mentioned there wasn't persistent correction across multiple cylinders so he wasnt concerned. I dropped down to sport (91 octane) while still running 94 octane in the car on a cool day. There were less frequent corrections but still some corrections. Ran that for a couple weeks to eliminate bad batch of fuel.

Im going to do some more logs now that its nice and hot. As well going to change the plugs this weekend and install a new FMIC this summer to get the IATs down and minimize any timing corrections due to heat.

Running 18-19 PSI with relatively low timing in the midrange is fine. It's running high boost and high advance without the right octane is where you'll detonate the engine. The OTS maps are perfectly fine when ran with the right mods and octane.

Thankfully our DME is pretty good in pulling timing and such which is why the early tunes didn't blow many motors as compared with other platforms where a crappy tune would detonate it in a heart beat.
