That looks really hot - way better than the glossy OEM cf trim!

That would look silly.... The cupholder is silver no matter what interior you have.

What do you mean? It looks the same as before the wrap. I used 3M #77 spray adhesive.

I'm usually not a fan of wrapping the trim in fabric, but this looks damn good.

I've seen people do the steering wheel in e90's and I think it looks tacky. A little bit goes a long way imho

Only thing stopping me is the fact you have to remove the whole center console to do the ashtray trim and door.

I think he means did you wrap the fabric around the edges or cut it flush.

When I get mine in I might be hitting you up to do this for me. If i remember correctly you bought your 135 from VOB in rockville, I think I was looking at that one too before you snatched her up.

Looks great by the way!

Found it! Complete DIY tips and tricks for CF fabric wrapping:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...cf+fabric+wrap

If I could get a second set of the piano black trim for cheap I would do this, just not sure if I want to chance messing up my only trim set.

I wrapped it around, but the door is two pieces. There is the trim piece and then a bottom part that it snaps in to. Hard to explain...

I love how the ash tray chrome push part is still showing. Does that just come off and go back on after laying the fabric over the ashtray door?

Yes you have to pull it up and wrap the whole cover, then poke holes for the silver trim piece. I almost broke mine getting it off, the glue is really strong.

It looks like you did a really good job. I'll probably end up doing this when I eventually get bored with the glacier aluminum trim.
