Looking for 5 spoke

I have been searching for a long time but have not been able to (or am not that skilled) at searching for a pair of wheels I want in my price range. I am looking for a 5 spoke with a lip between 1-2k for a set... Can anyone point me in the right direction? Pictures would be great too!

Lip is a bit tougher on a 1er. There are some out there for sure but not so much because of the relatively high offset needed on the 1. Here are some Forgestar CF5s. Lightweight and in your price range.

Yep. You can get the exact offset you want down to the mm. Nice given that the 1 has a relatively narrow range of workable offsets if you are trying to maximize width. Look at the other bimmerpost forums and you won't see nearly as many 'will this fit' threads as you see here on 1addicts.

I had my CF5s custom painted hyperblack at wheelsamerica after taking delivery (didn't like the color i ordered after seeing it on the car).

A couple more close up pics below...

Those look great, I think you can get various colors too from the factory. Those look phenomenal.

Might want to look at the VMR V705s. Maybe more lip but heavier, not as much offset flexibility (although they offer a 45 which is perfect), and not as many color options. Gorgeous though if you're looking at 5 spokes.

Yikes. Haven't seen anything with anything close to that much lip for a 1. Offsets won't allow it

I feel like with a good fender roll and spacers something good can happen.

spacers would do the opposite of what you want here. because the potential range of suitable offsets is extremely limited on the E82 (high ET30's to mid ET40's), spacers would simply push the wheel out even farther. Running a lower than traditionally suitable offset wheel with a spacer would reduce the offset even further. you can't really do while lowered and without rubbing, and a fender roll won't give you a substantial expansion. There's a reason very few wheels like that exist for the E82.

Those are gorgeous. I don't understand why more people don't go for these rather than the CSL types.

Check out TSW, they are not real popular with this crowd. Great if you like to be different. There offsets are a little aggressive but they do work on a 1 series with a little fender rolling. I have some on my car and I always get complimented on them.

I'll shoot you a PM! There is only one set of these available, but they are somewhat aggressive in the front.
