Power Drain

When I have an iPod connected does it drain power from the car battery when I turn the car off and leave the iPod connected?

Yes.

For long term period when you do not use the car... you should unplug your iPod or USB stick. Also make sure your car keys(fobs, comfort access only) are far enough away from the car so the car can 'go to sleep" when locked.

Thank you for the response. I always keep the FOB far enough away from the car. I also keep it away when washing the car because the lock/unlock keeps going when touched.
