This is what my wife calls the car. It's spanish for "My Girlfriend". After the drop (H&R Sport springs) and start of winter, I was thinking of another set of wheels for the summer when these came up here from one of the guys that was stationed here and is on teh forum. They're 18x8 Falken Koblenz wheels and they were badly corroded by the great salt they lay here in Kaiserslautern when it gets below freezing on the roads.
Needless to say, they became part of my garage after hearing the wife scream at me for purchasing a set of rims but calmed down quickly after she heard how much I paid ($0). I spent the winter taking my time sanding them down completely to remove the salt buildup and hand polish the lip while I painted the center piece black. Now on to the finished product. Let me know what you think. This is my son Nico. He wanted me to take a pic of him with the car. Making sure I steer him in the right direction. And at home..... Upgrades will follow but the exterior will pretty much stay as is. Simple and clean with maybe a small thing here and there since what I really want to concentrate on is finishing up the susp. setup and performance upgrades. See ya around:rule Nick

Nice car and sweet wheels! I love the polished silver lip on the rims. Reminds me of my old Porsche FUCH's wheels.
Looks like you will be PCS-ing soon (QQ tags! lol). Have fun where ever you are going. Love that garage & drive way too! bye, David |

Thanks guys. The rims are 8x18 but can't remember the offsets. Tires are the factory run-craps. I'm trying to wear them off so I can get better justify new tires. No rubbing whatsoever even under hard cornering. I wanted to get the lip to shine more, but after looking at them like that, I decided that this was the look I wanted.
The QQ plates are because I am on Terminal Leave right now after 23+ years in. They are getting changed back over to German plates once I arrive to my new job in Vilseck.

Thanks. I wish I had the clear Euros. My car is US specs, so when my time is done here, she comes with me. And the euro lights are not cheap
