Opinions on this wheel size?

Took some measurements yesterday and it looks like these *should* work. looking at getting a set of wheels made with these specs:

F: 19x8 ET 47
R: 19x9 ET 60

Any thoughts?

Also, does anyone know off hand what the smallest rim diameter is that will fit on the rears? Might have them make a set of rears for radials at the same time.

Thanks

I suspect that the smallest diameter will be 17". Some 135i's were delivered with 17" that fit over the brakes. I do not think a 16" will fit over the brakes.

Those rim sizes and offsets should work. Not the most aggressive, depends on what you're going for. Stock is 18x7.5 ET49 and 18x8.5 ET52. Take a look at Apex wheels for their 1 series specific sizing, they have done all the test fitting and math so you don't need to. Go with what specs they have and you'll be good.

Yeah I checked out that page and got a bit of info. Not looking to have to introduce camber just to get a wheel to fit, or, would I ever buy a set of brand new wheels where the manufacturer says you need a spacer, when you can just have the wheels made to order properly for the same or better price to begin with.
