Next Car?
Anyone thinking about cars they'd like to buy once they sell their 1ers or their lease's are up?
I was sitting at petcetera yesterday and a black S5 pulled up and just looked and sounded amazing. C63 AMG looks pretty nice too, and of course the M3. But then again most of these are priced $20,000 more than our beloved 135's. I've only had my 1er since August but I'm already looking at new cars... I think I need about 6 cars and I'll be good. What about you guys???? PS. I'm not sick of the 135 AT ALL, just to make sure everyone knows that Most amazing car ever its just always fun to look at others.

2011 S5 Cabriolet. I need more trunk space and Quattro wouldn't be bad considering how much snow we seem to get now compared to before.

I love the way it looks & it'll kill my Porsche on space & refinement. My 128i is here to stay for a good long while. After a slow start I'm liking it more & more every day. I'm having thoughts of buying out the lease when it's done & using it as my daily driver for a loooooong time. . |

wow lots of you guys have similar taste as I do. I'm really interested in the S5 but I think I'll hold off on it for the time being. I got my eyes set on the TTS when my beloved 128i grows old. Perhaps when I start a family of my own I'll get the S5, gotta get more space for the future kids right? heh

Might want to wait until they get the super charged V6 in the S5 instead of the V8. A little bit less HP but more torque and more torque down low all with better fuel economy.

I think about this often but for now I am set on a used v10 m6 and then adding forced induction to it. I can't afford to do this now but by the time I am ready to get rid of my 1 I should be able to swing it

I look almost everyday at Autotrader "window-shopping". Right now looking for a possible daily driver that is a bit sport and has back seats.....possibly a sedan. Would like to get a G8 GT (GXP) for a DD but they are not old enough yet to get one used for the price I am looking at for a 2nd car DD....even looked at a couple of RX-8's that can be had for really low prices at the moment....

I saw the new commercials for the new Z, and it actually looks pretty nice. I at first didnt like them very much, and they seemed to pop up everwhere before too long...but the Nissmo package looks pretty cool

+1 on the 370Z. Looks better and is smaller than the previous generation and the SynchroRev Match Transmission sounds kinda cool. I've never been a huge Nissan fan, the interiors have always been weak and that's where you spend all your time, so it better be nice. But the interiors are getting better and the price point is better than the 135i when you factor in options. I'd also add to my list the VW GTI, some sort of Audi wagon (they do wagons the best imho, but I don't totally trust their reliability, so I ended up with a Mazda6 wagon), another E46 but a coupe instead, the upcoming Lexus IS hardtop convertible looks interesting.. the list goes on. |

Bugatti Veyron.
Okay.... okay.... might need to save a few more pennies for one of those. On a more realistic note, I'm looking forward to seeing what BMW releases in terms of Diesel/Hybrid cars in 2011/2012. I am hoping we see (more) shifts towards environmentally friendly performance vehicles. And no.. I don't think the Aero EV counts... although it is a very cool concept |

M3 or used 911. Or, if wife has her way... red pickup truck.
And no more stripes.

With global warming, either a hydrogen powered 7-series or - given my proximity to the lake - a 40 foot C&C.
