128i winter setup
From Tire Rack:
Dunlop Winter Sport M3 ROF tires (205/55-16 91H) Sport Edition A7 wheels (16x7.5) Had them mounted and balanced with TPMS sensors installed by Tire Rack. Even though the TPMS sensors showed backorder status, the wheels/tires shipped two days after I placed the order, and were in my hands three days after they shipped. Excellent service Gill, thanks! Had to go with a 16" wheel to get the M3 ROF tire. The A7 looks decent on the car. Uses stock bolt hardware, stock center caps fit, and no centering ring adapter is required. Put them on yesterday as temps are starting to drop here in Denver. As expected, the ride is a little more compliant over expansion joints and the like. Steering response is not as quick and cornering stability not as precise as with the stock summer tires, but it isn't sloppy like the studless ice and snow category. Will report back after we get some snow on the ground, but I expect good things as this is my fifth set of M3s (although my first time trying the ROF version). |

Looks good! Thanks for the kind words. I had to rob Peter to pay Paul with those sensors but I was happy to do it for you.

That's a good looking winter setup for the 128i. Looking forward to hearing about the performance in snow.
