Clear Coat Scratches?

Question...
Anyone know if clear coat scatches be repaired? I hear that scratch removal/buffing in clear coat is only temporary and the scratches will reappear in time.

They will only reappear if glaze or something like it is used to hide the swirls. This is typically what dealerships do, particularly at delivery.

If they are properly buffed out by a reputable shop, they'll be gone for good (unless it's swirled again!)
