OEM Front Run Flats on Rear

Need your help guys. I have decided to stick with run flats for various reasons. However, I am waiting for Tire Rack to get the new Kumho run flats in 135 sizes (estimated early 2010). My rears are shot and I have a set of perfectly good fronts (215 40 18) stock run flats in my garage that I got from a local addict. Can I mount these on the rear so that I am running the same tire all around until the new Kumhos drop? Will I rub? My wife drives it and she is not driving it hard..so I doubt she ll notice the narrower rubber in the rear. Id rather wait till the Kumho's come out so I can get all 4 then run mixed tires or, worse, pay 800 bucks for rear crapstones.

Tirerack shows the range of rim widths for 215/40-18 tires as 7-8.5"

They will work on the 8.5" wide rear rims..

Thanks! I did not even realize that info was on the Tire Rack site. I am going to do this to hold me over until Kumho's new SPT run flat tire becomes available for the 135. Since I need to stick with runflats(long story) I would rather not blow 800 bucks on the crapstones when I know Kumhos are right around the corner. Advice much appreciated.
