Car alarm with GPS tracking

Guys,

Any recommendations re car alarms with gps tracking ?

Thinking of getting an early 70's Kombi as a project car. Unfortunately, it will have to be parked on the street ( 1er gets the garage

)

So want some piece of mind.

Will be taking all the other usual precautions including wheel clamp.

Haven't needed at after market alarms for years, so looking some Recommendations.

I have a sign in front of my house that clearly states that i own an AK-47. So far no problemo.

I have a QuikTrak GPS tracker (http://www.quiktrak.com.au/) and I'm reasonably satisfied with it. I believe their systems include alarms for vehicles which don't already have one. The upfront cost including installation was pretty reasonable.

There is a monthly fee for the GPS tracking but it depends whether you just have the simple system with web-based tracking only, or the full blown one with monitoring and remote shutdown etc.
