LCI Blackline tail lights from Schmiedmann?

I ordered a set back on March 26th and still have not received them.

Just wondering if anyone is in the same boat?

Really excited to finally get these in my car...

ECS Tuning is always a safe buy. Cost a little more but ship fast and packaging is great.

I'm pretty sure everyone is waiting from almost all websites for their orders, even ECS says that if you order today, they ship out June 2nd.

The wait for these things BLOW.

I did not know that. Well, ECS is usually pretty efficient. I guess everyone and their mother (happy mother's day btw) is ordering blacklines. Glad I already got mine.

They are probably just waiting for a restock. I bought mine in December, took a few weeks to ship, have you contacted them yet?

Contacted them about once a week for the last month and a half!

No substantial information

Ordered mine from ECS last year in the beginning of the week and received them by the end of the week. One of the easiest things I've done for my car.

I was merely saying how quick the process was for me. I'm sorry it's not going as smooth for you but there's no need to get your panties in a bunch over it. lol

I want to order LCI blacklines from schmiedmann to my 2008 pre LCI 135i.

I asked from customer service that will those lights fit straight without any problems.

They answered to me that i must also be ordered footwell module 3 and retrofit cable set..? Those are OVER 400€ and lights over 300€.
So lights doesnt work without module and new cables?

Bullshit. LCI Blackline HIGH are plug&play on all pre-facelift E82/88's.

I believe there is a difference between the euro version 1 series pre-lci, and the North America 1 series pre-lci. I'm sure dack will chime in here here, but I'm almost positive that;

-All North American pre lci models ***WITH adaptive and/or Xenon*** headlights, are 100% P&P for the blacklines that's part number ends with 282. All models without adaptive or xenon will use the cheaper halogen model of the blacklines (Not too sure of the part number off the top of my head)

-All European Pre-lci models require the module in order for the blackline taillights to work (I'm not too sure about the difference between having adaptive & xenon headlights vs NOT having adaptive & xenon headlights, maybe dack can answer this one better... It's late and I don't feel like searching for his previous posts on the topic)...

agree that's just BS.
If your car has xenon headlight then the blackline "high" tail lights will work just fine and they're just p&p.

part number for car WITH xenon headlights (adaptive or not) regardless of the year of the car:
63212225282

my previous car was a 2009 E82 pre-LCI and those lights worked just p&p. EU specs.

IF your old tail lights had LED's, new Blacklines will be a Plug & Play. The problem is when the car is an LCI that has halogen headlights with no rear led tubes light. Then you might need a new footwel module(FR3).

LCI HIGH tails on all pre-LCI E82/88's are plug&play.

LCI HIGH tails on halogen LCI E82's are NOT plug&play.

Make this a sticky.

I'll pass along what someone told me. Get your credit card company on the phone while you place the order online. Tell them you are making an intl purchase and ask them to verify it goes through as you click through the transaction. This will eliminate some of the delays people experience which is their cc companies holding things up because of the international aspect. I did this, paid like $330 shipped and they were at my front door within a week. Total plug and play, installed in like 20 minutes. Good luck
