Send back mate and request a refund, mine lined straight up, took all of 15min to remove oem and fit the alpha-n diffuser and we had no troubles with so something has gone wrong with the one you have during the manufacturing process.

I had the same issue with mine.
You need to remove the rear bumper to install the diffuser with perfect fitment.

I've got a revosport diffuser and have installed Vorstiner and others and I can tell you that no composit body part is going to fit perfect with the exception of BMW performance parts, they are close to perfect.
I would not hesitate to buy from Alpha N, there parts are Tits. |

Unfortunately, I think your problem is not the mould, but on the laying. Claiming they all come from the same mould is just an excuse and BS as they know very well, how you lay the fabric in the mould makes a bit difference in the outcome. I haven't been really interested in non-functional CF parts (bar the Akra exhaust tips ), but that's why I still haven't bite the bullet on any functional body parts as the companies who knows what they are doing aren't really interested in the 1M. If I am buying something off the shelf at the moment I would consider Revozport because of their TUV certification, but there is still no guarantee that it will be perfect. My mechanic put the revozport on another 1M and he said their workmanship is faultless. However, another BMW Club member's feedback is that the fitment is not perfect. Even BMW CF parts are not perfect - numerous report that the laying is poor and crack develops and even reported that BMW was saying it is the "nature of the product" on some problems. |
