Triple digits with top down!!!!

Tonight about 8pm, the wife and I decided to take the vert out for a spin. It was 75 deg. and cloudless, with a beautiful moon a few degrees from Venus.
Heading east on the local 4 lane hwy, after about 15 miles of 70mph, I decided to see what the 128 would feel like at 100mph with the top down. Then the wife told me to slow down cause of possibility of deer on the road.
The car was great, so smooth, and we didn't have too much buffing in cabin. Can't wait to get it to 110 ++++

yeah...love it. ive had the 135i with top down up to around 105 or so. feels effortless. surprisingly, wind noise is minimal.
what gear were you in? the 135i does around 105 in 3rd gear....but i think its more fun to shift into 4th.....4th is good for 130+?? although ive never tried it.
have fun....post a pic if you can......

The forum has rules, threads get closed when posts break those rules, how does that make the admins "stupid?"

A good number of 1addicts have probably spent a good amount of time well into triple digits. This is not the place to post about it. And, frankly, 100mph is not that impressive.

You are right about locking it. We "Stupid Admins" think yours was a tad worse though, claiming 160mph in your car. I can think of a great Forrest Gump quote regarding stupidity. It's fits well...

Think of that Mustang crash thread of a couple days ago, and that's the very reason we do not allow illegal speeding stories/kill stories/illegal racing stories. There's nothing stupid about that policy.
