Stock exhaust question

when i was installing my downpipes this weekend i noticed the stock axle back had a substantial dent in one of the bends. in searching, i found this dent in other pictures of stock exhausts. does the exhaust come that way from the factory? i was worried it was damaged and needed to be replaced but if they come that way it's ok i guess. picture for reference:
